Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor and Delivery

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Labor and Delivery team. The RN will provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for women's health and a desire to work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide safe and efficient care to laboring mothers, including monitoring fetal heart rate, administering medications, and assisting with delivery
• Educate patients and families about the childbirth process and provide emotional support
• Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members, including physicians, nurses, and support staff
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care
• Collaborate with unit leadership to ensure quality patient care and safety
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities

Qualifications:

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of South Carolina
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
• Strong clinical skills, including fetal monitoring, interpretation of EKGs, and administration of medications
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handle multiple priorities effectively
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
