We are looking for an outgoing and creative Activities Assistant. You will help plan and execute events that encourage the cognitive, social, and physical interaction of patients in our long-term care setting. Events include concerts, crafts, baking classes, Presenters, book club, plus much more. These activities are therapeutic and essential to our resident's quality of life. We prefer candidates who have great computer knowledge, arts, energy, and great communication skills.
Shifts are primarily during the week, one evening and one Saturday or Sunday a month for approximately 2 hours. If you are looking for full-time hours there are opportunities in other departments for you to work and expand your knowledge and experience.
