Perimeter Behavioral of New Orleans is providing care to adults. We are conveniently located in Kenner, Louisiana. We offer inpatient behavioral health and mental health treatment for adults 18 years or older.

Our Activities Coordinator responsibilities include some of the following:

• Provides direct patient group treatment.
• Dictates/writes progress notes for one to one and group sessions according to policies and procedures.
• Develops and directs special programs as scheduled.
• Provides comprehensive therapeutic activities consistent with each patient's active treatment program.
• Seeks to retain/enhance present skill level through participation in advanced learning situations.
• Develops and maintains effective interpersonal relations with superiors, peers, subordinates, and customers.
• Implements and enforces the confidentiality policies and procedures. Works cooperatively on an intra-departmental and inter-department level toward the achievement of company goals.
• Accepts other duties as assigned willingly and pleasantly.

• Education: Bachelor of Recreation Therapy or Music Therapy or Psychology is required.
• Experience: At least one (1) year of related experience in a hospital setting with psychiatric experience required.
• Additional Requirements: Successful completion of CPR and Crisis Prevention Intervention Training within 30 days of employment (training available upon hire)
• Schedule: Seeking PRN availability.
