Schneider is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist. You will be responsible for accurate and timely payments to suppliers. This would include providing support for any escalated payment issues as well as yearend tax reporting.

About the role:

• Understand the supplier set up process and provide suppliers/carriers direction as needed.
• Ensure invoices get paid in a timely manner which includes resolving invoice exceptions.
• Ensure critical daily, weekly, monthly, and annual cutoffs are achieved.
• Analyze and reconcile daily reports to determine the root cause of errors and implement corrective action.
• Maintain consistent attendance while exhibiting behavior in alignment with our core values.

Ideal candidates will have:

• Data Entry and 10-key pad skills.
• Experience with MS Word and Excel is preferred.
• Familiarity with Oracle and Outlook systems is preferred
• Familiarity with Corporate Finance policies and SOX controls.
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
