Our services include parent education classes, Foster Care, Parents As Teachers, Behavioral Health, and Nurse-Family Partnership Program!
Job Summary
Member of the Finance team that will ensure transactions have been properly accounted for and accurately reflect the company's accounting process. Will incorporate the recording and updating of financial information. Completes payments and controls expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices.
Essential Duties
- Reviews and codes invoices to correct department and expense allocation.
- Reconciles and balances all vendor statements against invoices and packing slips.
- Processes weekly check runs and notifies bank of positive pay.
- Prepares and files 1099 tax forms for appropriate subcontractors.
- Manages gift card receipts and records related income and expenses.
- Prepares and posts monthly journal entries relating to 401K and FSA transactions.
- Prepares and submits NFP billing.
- Calculates and process monthly payments to the DDD Foster Parents
- Processes daily check deposits
- Reconciles daily cash balance.
- Prepares monthly vendor allocations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Two years accounting and accounts payable experience.
- Familiarity with GAAP principles.
- Proof of COVID immunization.
- Ability to create and post monthly journal entries.
- PC Skills, EXCEL and Word for Windows, MultiView Accounting system and advanced data entry skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Strong attention to detail is required.
- Excellent internal and external customer service skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively.
- Must be able to meet training and organization requirements for the position.

- Must possess or be able to qualify for and maintain a valid Arizona department of public safety level one fingerprint clearance card.
- Must possess and maintain a valid Arizona driver's license and be insurable under the organization's automobile policy.
