Accounts Payable Specialist (3+ Yrs Exp in Mid-Large Co. Req) HYBRID Description

Our client in the wholesale food service industry is looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to add to their team in Lodi, New Jersey. Once fully trained, there will be flexibility to work from home up to two days per week. In this position, you will join a team of three other Accounts Payable professionals to ensure invoice payments for the organization are timely and accurate. The ideal candidate will have accounts payable experience in a medium to large-size company and is comfortable and knowledgeable at using Microsoft Excel on a daily basis. Some familiarity with VLOOKUPs and pivot tables is needed, with the understanding that the AP Manager is able to provide training to strengthen the skills of a tech-savvy candidate. To be successful, you must be detail oriented and a quick learner that can hit the ground running in a fast-paced work environment. Accounts Payable Specialist (3+ Yrs Exp in Mid-Large Co. Req) HYBRID Responsibilities

• Support the accounts payable process for two separate business entities
• Ensure invoices are paid in a timely and accurate manner
• Compare purchase orders, prices, terms of payment and other charges
• Complete 3-way invoice match
• Download invoices from customer portals into an Excel template
• Prepare the Excel template to upload invoice information into the ERP system
• Match invoices to POs in the ERP system
• Research invoice discrepancies
• Process invoices for inbound container shipments for both purchase price and landing cost
• Reconcile vendor/supplier AP aging balances
• Establish and maintain relationships with new and existing vendors

Accounts Payable Specialist (3+ Yrs Exp in Mid-Large Co. Req) HYBRID Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounts payable experience in a medium to large sized company is required
• Experience with ACH and wire transfers is required
• Data entry experience with a strong focus on attention to detail is required
• Proficient Excel skills are required (Eagerness to learn/use VLOOKUP & Pivot Tables)
• Ability to work in the office 3 days per week is required (5 days during training)
