Duties/Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with AP Lead to ensure all escalated Accounts Payable issues are resolved quickly and efficiently
• Accountable for making sure all vendors are paid on time
• Accountable for managing lost discounts and maintaining accounting records for the AP department
• Oversees routine processes of AP department
• Investigates and resolves issues escalated by AP Lead
• Review AP month end accrual process
• Communicates changes to AP processes and policies to affected stakeholders
• Maintain process and controls for approval, coding, and entering invoices
• Monitor AP department and coach individuals when additional training or support is needed
• Supporting and owning change management for the continuous improvement of the department by taking a proactive approach to common business practices and opportunities
• Work across teams to improve AP efficiency and processes
• Develop, implement, improve, and enforce policies and department controls to increase accuracy and efficiency

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Time management and ability to manage deadlines
• Ability to work independently while contributing to team objectives

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent preferred
• 3-5 years' experience of management experience preferred
• 3-5 years' experience of high-volume accounts payable, accounting and/or finance preferred
