Job description
Position Title: Accounting Technician - 40 hrs. per week
Work Location: FachesCenter 951 29th Ave SW Cedar Rapids IA 52404
Shift: Monday - Friday 8am - 4:30pm
Wage: $19.91 - $29.38 per hour
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
The employee will be responsible for client banking, this includes maintaining documentation in a computerized program, preparing deposits, printing weekly client checks and monthly reconciliation. Other duties will include processing accounts payable, federal contract billing, bank deposits and monthly reconciliations of various revenue and expense accounts.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum qualifications require a high school diploma and fours years accounting experience; OR college degree with a minimum of twenty (20) credit hours of accounting curriculum; OR an equivalent combination of related education and/or experience to equal four yeas in the accounting field.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Valid Drivers License
Ability to be insured under the District's automobile insurance
