Richard Heath & Associates, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and talented professional for the following opportunity:

Accountant I
Remote/Full-time, non-exempt

As an Accountant I, this position is responsible for performing project accounting including, but not limited to, revenue and expense analysis related to assigned programs, inventory analysis, payroll, and benefit analysis, reviewing subcontractor accounts, preparation of required reports and invoices and verification of expenditures ensuring that charges are applied to appropriate accounts. In addition, as Accountant I, this position is responsible for maintaining records of all financial documents with appropriate supporting materials and recommends, designs, and implements any necessary department or project controls. This position is also responsible for monthly Financial Statements and annual budget for assigned programs.

Ideal candidate will have:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration with emphasis in Accounting or four years of equivalent work experience
• One year of experience performing accounting functions
• Superior computer skills
• Advanced in Microsoft Excel
• Strong skills utilizing proper techniques of data extraction and data consolidation with regards to large amounts of financial data
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to work with little supervision
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Superior customer service skills
• Must be able to manage time and set priorities

Pay Range:
$28.00 - $31.00 per hour, DOE

Location:
Ability to work remote or in-office
