ACCOUNT MANAGER

Long Island's leading strategic marketing organization seeks an energetic, multi-tasking marketing pro to join our team.

EXPERIENCE

· Marketing, advertising, web, digital, public relations or related experience.

· Candidate must be self-starter, effective problem solver and clear communicator.

OVERVIEW/JOB DESCRIPTION:

· Full-service client account management position (not a sales position).

· Regular client communications and PMG interaction (with art, production, programmers, copy/creative personnel, etc.).

· Simultaneously execute multiple client/agency assignments for print, digital, web, PR, social and/or media applications.

· Develop/deliver client proposals, estimates, quotes, answer RFPs as needed.

· Execute tactical and go-to-market recommendations.

· Ensure project accuracy, timelines, milestones, adherence to budgets and deadlines.

· Maintain fiscal account management, drive account retention, growth, profitability.

· Coordinate proofing, quality assurance and client approvals.

· Attend meetings and presentations in-person/zoom as required.

· Build and maintain relationships to ensure total client satisfaction.

· Initiate draft copy/messaging (digital and print).

· Maintain status of internal job tracking system.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

· Familiarity with strategic marketing tactics (print, web, media, digital, advertising, collateral, video, trade shows, event marketing, email, social media, PR, etc).

· Ability to communicate with clients and communicate information to internal/external teams.

· Ability to work independently and function seamlessly as part of team.

HELPFUL ADDITIONAL SKILLS:

· Expertise in messaging, positioning, branding, identity.

· Social media experience and implementation for Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, etc.

· Ability to perform research and discovery.

· Media relations (PR/Publicity) experience.

· Written and verbal communication skills.

· Microsoft skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); Adobe Acrobat.

· Proofreading capabilities.

· Non-programmer ability to populate content within CMS Systems (WordPress and/or DNN).

· SEO knowledge, understanding and articulation of paid and search (organic).

· Familiarity with email dissemination software (such as Constant Contact and/or Mail Chimp), and platforms such as Google Analytics and Google Search Console.

· Business development and business relationships a plus.

JOB TYPE:

SALARY:

$60,000 - $70,000
