Essential Job Functions:
1. Assists in reviewing operating practices and procedures to determine whether improvements can be made in areas such as workflow, reporting procedures, or expenditures.
2. Assists in making necessary modifications to operational policies and procedures based on analysis of operations, demographics, and other research information.
3. Sets up and manages paper or electronic filing systems, recording information, updating paperwork, or maintaining documents, such as attendance records, correspondence, or other material.
4. Maintains accurate and complete student records as required by laws, policies, and administrative regulations.
5. Prepares special ad hoc reports / summaries by selecting relevant information from a variety of sources and designed to satisfy inquiries.
6. Assists faculty and administrators in the development, evaluation, and revision of school programs and in the preparation of master schedules for curriculum offerings.
7. Determines course schedules, and coordinates teaching assignments and room assignments to ensure optimum use of buildings and equipment.
8. Assists with the assignment and scheduling of adjunct faculty, and facilitating appropriate communications.
9. Manages and monitors adjunct contracts.
10. Facilitates online course module set-up.
11. Enters/changes grades, orders textbooks, prepares/submits/maintains CIMs and syllabi, and/or prepares and maintains course schedules.
12. Acts as liaison between students, faculty, and college and university departments.
13. Assists with the planning and execution of orientation for new program students.
14. Counsels students regarding educational issues, such as course and program selection, class scheduling and registration. May conduct exit interviews for student withdrawals.
15. Assists in facilitating student grievance and discipline processes.
16. Compiles, maintains, analyzes, and prepares reports on data related to activities such as student engagement and retention, academic progress, experiential learning, and career success.
17. Coordinates the production and dissemination of university publications, such as course catalogs and class schedules.
18. Assists in the recruitment, selection, and supervision of student employees and graduate assistants.
