Stride Autism Centers is seeking an ABA Therapy Outreach Specialist!
Stride has built a "dream team" of lead clinicians, including thought leaders in the field of ABA, that can provide extraordinary care to Stride's clients and their families. We are seeking a mission-driven Events and Operations Coordinator to collaborate with our clinical and operations teams to expand the Stride footprint in the Midwest and execute social media campaigns and community outreach events. This person will also play a large role in designing “Stride Swag” and Stride branded promotional products.
Responsibilities
- Connect with and develop relationships with a variety of local organizations and businesses to develop partnerships and enhance Stride's presence in the communities we serve
- Research new events and opportunities to drive community engagement and outreach
- Manage all event operations (book venues, schedule speakers, prepare venue, invitations, etc.)
- Plan events with attention to financial and time constraints and understand the requirements for each event
- Research vendors (catering, venue, etc.) and choose the best combination of quality and cost
- Negotiate with vendors to achieve the most favorable terms
- Attend and perform final checks at the day of the event (e.g. tables, technology) to ensure everything meets Stride standards
- Oversee event happenings and act quickly to resolve problems
- Evaluate the event’s success and submit reports to the CEO and Operations team
- Manage and update company social media accounts and website
- Create eye-catching marketing materials and graphics
- Produce and distribute monthly company newsletter
- Collaborate with CEO and Operations team to design and order Stride Swag and promotional giveaways
- Work with vendors for custom branding materials and clothing
- Stock and manage swag and promotional items
- Assist CEO with tasks related to opening new clinics
- Connect with and develop relationships with a variety of referral sources and referring providers
- Assist with clinical management duties as needed
Qualifications
- Degree in marketing/communications, hospitality management, public relations or a relevant field is preferred
- Experience in content management, creative writing and advertising concepts
- A proven track record of organizing successful events
- Excellent vendor management skills
- Outstanding communication and negotiation ability
- Well-organized with multi-tasking skills
- Critical thinker with strong problem-solving and research proficiencies.
- Solid organizational skills and detail-oriented.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Creative mind with superb written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to simplify complex information into a user-friendly format.
- Proficient in Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Photoshop, Canva and web editing packages preferred
