The Maple Run Unified School District is seeking a middle school, humanities classroom teacher for grades 7 & 8 at Saint Albans Town Educational Center (SATEC) for the upcoming 2023-2024 school year. Experience teaching Language Arts and Social Studies at the 7th and 8th grade level and knowledge of Restorative Practices is preferred. A middle school classroom teacher will have the ability to create grade appropriate programs and a positive classroom environment that motivates students to develop skills, knowledge, and attitudes, according to each student's ability, in order to develop a solid foundation for continued learning. Embraces and implements programs and activities in support of middle level philosophy and best practices.

Establishes effective relationships with students, parents, staff, and community members to enhance learning opportunities. Saint Albans Town Educational Center is a PreK-8 school serving approximately 800 students in Franklin County, Vermont. The Saint Albans community shows great pride in and support for their school. We are looking for an energetic, caring and collaborative classroom teacher to support our middle school students academic, social and emotional growth.
