Description: This position is a full-time faculty teaching position at Wellspring Catholic Academy of St. Bernadette. The3rd grade teacher is responsible for covering the core components of the appropriate Archdiocese of Denver 3rd Grade Curricula for English Language Arts (ELA), Math, Science, Social Studies, and Theology. This teacher is also the Crew Leader for the 3rd grade crew. This teacher, as a member of the primary & elementary level team, will be consistently collaborating with the other teachers on this level team to ensure consistency of instructional practice and a thriving school environment.

Contract Year: August 14th, 2023 – June 1nd, 2024 (Compensated Staff Retreat Aug 10-11)

Compensation & Benefits: Typical Annual Salary Range: $40,000 - $56,000. Salary scale starts at $36,798.00 (Bachelor’s Degree, 0 Yrs Experience), and goes up according to the Archdiocese of Denver pay scale, based on education level and years of experience. Additional compensation ($1,000 - $5,000) available based on experience, bilingualism, and other skills. Paid every other week from End of August 2022 - Early August 2023. This position offers full healthcare benefits as well as a retirement plan.

• For K-8 Teachers & Administrators Only: Bachelors Degree or Higher, ideally in field related to the content and/or grade level you will work with.
• For K-8 Teachers & Administrators Only: If candidate does not have a valid and current Colorado Teacher’s or Administrator’s License, candidate must be committed to the necessary processes for pursuing and acquiring a Colorado Teacher’s or Administrator’s License.

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Teaching or Work experience in field related to the content and/or grade level you will work with
• Expertise to teach Catholic sacramental preparation for First Reconciliation, Eucharist, and Confirmation.
• Familiarity with educational technology, including but not limited to Chromebooks & Tablets, Educational apps, Smartboards, Google Apps (Drive, Docs, Sheets), and Microsoft Office software.
• English-Spanish Bilingualism: Able to speak, read, and write fluently in both English & Spanish.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
