• Job title: Designer/Detailer

Job Location: Columbus, Ohio

TKS Industrial Company is a world leader in the engineering, design, fabrication, and installation of turnkey paint finishing systems. TKS Industrial’s Columbus facility includes design and fabrication teams as well as our 86,000 square foot fabrication facility. Our associates collaborate throughout the full project cycle to fabricate and ship amazing products throughout North America, while serving as a resource for the installation teams.

The Designer/Detailer works under the direction of the Design Manager to Design and build 3D models from general engineering drawings, create 2D & 3D fabrication drawings, produce bills of material and purchase orders, and various documentation to support the machining and manufacturing, while constantly innovating a better product.

Qualifications:

• Two (2) years minimum experience using parametric 3D preferably Autodesk Inventor.
• Read and understand engineering drawings.
• Build 3D models using sheet metal and structural steel.
• Create fully detailed drawings for manufacturing and installation.
• Maintain an accurate bill of materials.
• Experience with Microsoft Office with focus on Excel and Outlook.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong documentation and organization skills
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Reliable and self motivated.
• Willingness to work overtime.
• Willingness to work as a team to promote cooperation both internally and externally.
• Willingness to learn new things, multitask, and assist the Design Manager with any design needs that arise.

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
