Special Education Teacher

Soliant Health is seeking highly qualified and dedicated Special Education Teachers to join our team in the Daly Cityarea. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of students with special needs.

Job Description:

• Provide instruction to students with special needs in a variety of settings, including self-contained classrooms and resource rooms.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students, in collaboration with parents, teachers, and other members of the educational team.
• Monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly to ensure that all students are making academic and social-emotional gains.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records on student progress, attendance, and behavior.
• Work collaboratively with other teachers, support staff, and administrators to provide a comprehensive educational experience for students.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to keep them informed about their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
• Attend and participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and other school events as required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field.
• Valid California Special Education teaching credential.
• Experience working with students with a variety of special needs, including those with moderate to severe disabilities and those in resource programs.
• Strong understanding of special education laws, policies, and best practices.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
