Buncha is the milkman, but for your favorite stores. Our platform connects merchants directly with local neighborhoods for weekly community drops (group deliveries). We are building a better way for communities across the country to get what they need, directly from the merchants they love, every week.

Buncha is one of the first and fastest-growing social delivery platforms in the United States. We’re backed by Techstars, Target, Starting Line, Unusual Ventures, Matchstick Ventures, and early employees and founders from Nextdoor and Instacart. We are growing 10x YoY with plans to expand to dozens of markets within the next 12 months. Our team of 30 is spread across offices in Minneapolis, MN, and New Delhi, India.

Job Description

At Buncha, we pride ourselves on providing our customers with an exceptional delivery experience. As a Shift Lead, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our customers are satisfied with our services. In addition, you'll have the chance to work closely with our team of dedicated shoppers, helping them with questions and providing guidance as needed. You'll also be responsible for conducting quality checks of orders to ensure our customers receive their orders accurately and on time.

We're looking for a team player who is dependable, punctual, and highly responsive. You should be tech-savvy and able to quickly learn new tools. As a Shift Lead, you'll be wearing multiple hats in this position, so you can expect a lot of variety in your day-to-day. Job Responsibilities

• Shop & deliver customer orders
• Helping shoppers with questions
• Monitor shoppers pace in-stores and offer assistance if needed
• Conduct quality checks of orders
• Coordinate the arrival and loading of delivery Van and ensure they depart on-time
• Report performance summaries, issues, and customer concerns daily to the Buncha HQ team.
• Supply shoppers with delivery materials
• Train new shoppers that join the team and answer any questions they might have.
• Oversee the performance of other Buncha shoppers and conduct coaching sessions with shoppers regularly to improve their service quality.
• Assist the dispatching team with the coordination of order assignments and van loads.

Job Requirements

• Saturday - Wednesday availability
• Occasional evening availability will be required
• Must be willing to travel regularly and drive to multiple stores in a day.
• Must have daily access to reliable transportation (2004 model or newer and insured)
• Must be tech-savvy and be able to quickly learn new tools.
• Must have the ability to remain calm under pressure and be able to ease the stress of others.
• Excellent organization and communication skills.
• Must be dependable and punctual for every shift.
• Must be highly responsive when contacted by customers and other Buncha team members.
• 1-2 years of previous managerial experience. (Required)
• High school diploma or GED. (Required)
• Bachelor's or associate degree in transportation or logistics would be advantageous. (Preferred)
• 1-2 years of similar experience in retail or grocery. (Preferred)
