We are currently seeking to hire an experienced, Senior-level Cyber Analytics Researcher who will be work and be located in Arlington, VA.
Location: Arlington, VA
In this role, you will:
- Be responsible for leading the research of analytic theory and emerging capabilities to support the varied use cases associated with discovering clandestine advanced threat actor activities.
- Participate in ongoing research and evaluation of new technologies.
- Perform research and development of experimental analytics based on original research as well as from working with 3rd parties (e.g., academic, military, commercial).
- Work closely with the analytic platform team to translate and install analytics for testing/deployment.
- Prepare assessments and cyber threat profiles of current events based on the sophisticated collection, research and analysis of classified and open source information.
- Correlate threat data from various sources.
- Develop and maintain analytical procedures to meet changing requirements and ensure maximum operations.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 15 years related technical experience.
- Demonstrated advanced knowledge of cyber threats, tools, and processes.
- Previous work experience in Cyber Threat Analytics.
- Experience managing tasks/project facilitation and interfacing regularly with senior government officials.
- Demonstrated experience establishing and maintaining good working relationships in all levels of the organization, including customers, prime contractor organizations, internal management and support organizations.
- U.S. citizenship and an Active Top Secret Security Clearance.
- In addition, the selected candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a favorably adjudicated DHS background investigation (EOD) for continued employment.
