Location: Tulsa SSC
Reports to: Manager, General Accounting, Sales & Use Tax, Fixed Assets
The Sales & Use Tax Analyst primary duties will be obtaining and creating sales tax exemption certificates, providing tax withholding rates; filing and amending Sales & Use Tax Returns for all states; reviewing general ledger; gathering necessary information for tax preparations, prepare sales tax reporting and reconciliations.
Core Responsibilities:
- Prepare Sales and Use Tax calculations and analysis to ensure accurate filing of tax returns
- Organize and maintain Sales & Use Tax records
- Handle sales and use tax audits and research issues raised during audit
- Resolve tax assessments and/or notices through written and verbal communication with State and Local tax representatives
- File timely and accurate sales and use tax returns in accordance with state deadlines
- Research tax issues/questions, and communicate to internal and external audience
- Initiate timely electronic filings and payments
- Maintain monthly tax calendars
- Exercise professional judgment to resolve basic tax issues
- Other related duties and projects as assigned
Qualified candidates will have:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred

5+ years of Multistate Sales and Use Tax experience

Experience with SAP, BW, Vertex, Accelerator Tools, and Vertex Returns

Proven proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)

Able to communicate tax rules and the company’s positions to non-finance segments of the organization
