Job description
QC Inspector will perform receiving inspection on all incoming materials and maintain the non-conforming material in separate areas as specified. Will assist to produce Quality Products on time and within budget given. Must be aware of GMP - General Manufacturing Processes.
Description of Responsibilities:
- Ensure all material received is in compliance with all the appropriate documents, policies and is delivered to the appropriate locations.
- Utilizes written inspection procedures, drawings, specification sheets, and first article samples during inspection. Inspection may require training and use of various inspections equipment, tools, fixtures, and measuring instruments.
- Ability to use micrometer, caliper, multimeter, and thread gauge.
- Completes, maintains, and distributes appropriate Quality records and documentation.
- Communicates directly with manufacturing, material control and management personnel.
- Ensures that all non-conforming material is handled in accordance with appropriate procedures and documents.
- Controls access to the non-conforming material quarantine area.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 3-5 years of of assembly and QC experience
- Previous experience in medical device manufacturing/assembly operation is desirable
- Experience working in a clean room environment is a huge plus
- Requires the ability to communicate effectively, written and vernal as well as good people skills.
- Must be comfortable with Microsoft Word and Excel as well as email
