Marketing Assistant Job Description

Summary:

Our commercial real estate office is looking for an experienced Marketing Assistant who is willing to work hard and grow with the company. The Marketing Assistant will report directly to the Director of Marketing and will be responsible for taking on a variety of tasks that allow for the successful completion of planned marketing programs. The successful candidate will perform phone surveys, assist in the development of marketing collateral, track existing marketing campaigns and report on results and coordinate market research studies. Marketing Assistant responsibilities include assisting in organizing campaigns and developing marketing strategies. This work will be a critical factor for the smooth operation of the Marketing department and the attainment of its goals, as well as for the long-term growth of the company.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in monitoring active marketing programs and developing ways to improve those campaigns
• Submit ideas for experimental marketing programs designed to enhance and grow the company's brand
• Utilize the Marketing Collateral to create a diverse marketing plan.
• Collaborate with Agents to create innovative ways to gain exposure for available properties
• Be a reliable resource for agents who need assistance with completing large marketing projects
• Conduct market research and analyze consumer rating reports/develop questionnaires. Creating and interpreting a variety of reports to present data to the team.
• Employ marketing analytics techniques to gather important data (social media, web analytics, rankings etc.)
• Update spreadsheets, databases, website, CRM’s, digital media and signage
• Assist in the organizing of promotional events and traditional or digital campaigns and attend them to facilitate their success.
• Prepare and present promotional presentations
• Compose and post online content on the company’s website and social media accounts
• Write marketing literature (brochures, press releases etc.) to augment the company’s presence in the market
• Helping identify marketing trends and key opportunities for innovation.
• Maintain schedules for marketing initiatives.
• Attend trade shows, company events.
• Facilitate print & digital collateral, including photo management
• Assist sales associates in the listing efforts, such lockbox & sign installs
• Auditing listings

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising or related field
• 2+ years' experience working in marketing or advertising
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office, marketing computer software and online applications (CRM tools, Online analytics, Google Adwords etc.)
• Good knowledge of market research techniques and databases
• Effective written, copy-editing abilities and verbal communication skills.
• Digital marketing experience.
• Ability to spot emerging trends
• Demonstrated experience with social media, social networking, email marketing and search engines (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest)
• Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere) a plus
• Digital photography and video editing experience a plus
• Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent problem-solving and time management skills
• Must be willing to travel to offsite locations
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Well-organized with a team-oriented approach
• A high level of attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
