SUMMARY OF POSITION :

The Division of Pediatrics Cardiology seeks an experienced Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to work in the outpatient setting seeing routine visits, follow-ups and acute visits, and inpatient consults. Ideally, the candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in Pediatric Cardiology. The candidate will work alongside other NPs and physicians in a collaborative and collegial environment. The position also includes teaching PA students and NP students in the clinical setting intermittently. The position is Monday – Friday 8 am-5 pm, with no holidays or weekends. Includes a shared night call with the other Advance Practice Providers and the Fellows on Tuesday and Thursday nights.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

• Graduate of an AMA approved Physician Assistant Program or baccalaureate or higher degree program that meets licensure requirements in the State of Pennsylvania required.
• National Certification in Pennsylvania or in another State with reciprocity and licensure to practice in Pennsylvania required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):

• Relevant experience preferred.
