ABOUT MANHEAD:
Manhead Merchandising, a leading music and entertainment merchandising company, is seeking a Logistics Manager for its two Nashville, TN Fulfillment Centers.

Our E-commerce Fulfillment section handles a high volume of outgoing small packages containing merchandise, accessories and media like books, CD’s, and vinyl records. This section is the final component of an in-house e-commerce system built on Shopify and Shiphero. Built in 2021, our E- commerce Fulfillment section includes a receiving/packaging area, pick and pack, scalable shipping and all other tools and equipment to support the operation.

Our Touring Logistics Warehouse is a fast paced, just-in-time, bulk receipt and ship operation that supports the merchandise sales for Manhead’s touring clients. Large volume of product is shipped in from our manufacturers to be incrementally shipped out over the course of a tour. At the end of a tour, any unsold product is shipped in to either be transferred to the E-commerce Fulfillment section or stored (on site or off site, depending on circumstance).

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Logistics Manager has overall responsibility for leading, coordinating and managing all activities for a satellite operation in Mt. Juliet. Under the direction of the Sr. Director of Logistics, this position is responsible for productivity, quality, budgetary performance, customer service, employee relations and culture.

• Direct supervision of 3-10 employees. Trains new and current employees regarding processes, systems, and execution. Constantly evaluates requirements.
• Oversees and coordinates all warehouse processes, including but not limited to, receiving, put away, picking, shipping, cycle counting and troubleshooting.
• Ensures compliance with safety, quality, productivity, and service goals established with leadership team.
• Proactively communicates in a professional manner to internal and external partners.
• Assists with SOP documentation for all local processes to increase scalability.
• Ensures the operation is safe, clean, orderly, and secure.
• Development and analysis of Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s).
• Self-aware, intentional listener that handles conflict in a professional manner.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1-3 years of supervisory experience in operations, supply chain, or logistics.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems desired.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Flexible, effectively manages stress.
• Sense of urgency. Thrives in a fast pace, deadline-driven environment.
• Proven administrative skills, including time management, planning, and organization.
• Ability to stand/walk for up to 8 hours.
• Ability to lift and/or pull 50 lbs without restriction.
• Forklift experience/license a plus.
• Detail Oriented self-starter.
• A collaborative problem solver to provide the best outcome when conflict arises.
• Team Builder, as well as Team Player.
• Entrepreneurial Orientation.
• Experience with ShipHero a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
