JOB DESCRIPTION
JOB TITLE: IT Support Technician
DEPARTMENT: Operations & Technology
LOCATION: Springville, UT
REPORTS TO: VP Operations & Technology
ABOUT THE POSITION: We are looking for a hard-working Support/Hardware Technician to join our team. This position will provide clients with fast and helpful technical assistance for computer systems, answer queries on basic technical issues and offer advice to solve them. This position also includes working with Low Voltage Network Wiring (CAT6, Fiber Optic, etc).
Responsibilities Include:
- Serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance over the phone or email
- Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions.
- Determine the best solution based on the issue and details provided by customers
- Walk the customer through the problem-solving process
- Coordinate with clients, site managers, and contractors to install systems on-site
- Respond to repair calls
- Document/record all notes in project tasks, tickets, etc.
- Record and manage all COG (Cost of goods) used per job
- Manage and properly record charges and expenses
REQUIREMENTS: A Support Technician must have good technical knowledge and be able to communicate effectively to understand the problem and explain its solution. This position must also be customer-oriented and able to resolve challenging situations in a professional manner.
Requirements Include:
- Experience as a computer technician or similar role
- Experience in LAN/WAN networks
- Knowledge of computer systems and IT components
- Knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Exceptional organizing and time-management skills
TERMS: Full-time

SALARY/RATE: $45-60k DOE
