HVAC & Plumbing Trade Apprentice/Helpers

Ivey Mechanical Company, LLC, a leader in the commercial and industrial HVAC and Plumbing contracting business with ten offices located throughout the Southeast, is growing and seeking HVAC and Plumbing Trades Apprentice/Helpers for their Georgia Service Division located in the metro Atlanta area (Tucker). These are ground floor opportunities into the commercial and industrial HVAC and plumbing trades. Hiring summer part-time help as well as full-time positions.

Responsibilities:

• Assist HVAC Technicians with the performance of routine maintenance and repairs on all types of commercial and industrial HVAC equipment and systems, as applicable
• Assist Plumbers with the performance of routine maintenance and repairs on all types of commercial and industrial plumbing systems, as applicable
• Maintain logs and records of all repair and maintenance functions
• Ensure compliance with appliance standards and Occupational Safety and Health Act
• Comply with service standards, work instructions, and Customer requirements
• Maintain service vehicle, tools, equipment, and supplies in a safe and orderly condition

Requirements/Qualifications:

• High school diploma, GED or suitable equivalent.
• Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook
• Comply with Drug-Free Workplace requirements
• Ability to work after hours, over weekends and on public holidays with short or no notice.
