BrightStar Care of Plymouth, a small home care agency, is hiring for Part-Time or Full-Time Home Health Aides (HHA) to work one-on-one with our clients in their homes. NO LATE EVENINGS AND NO OVERNIGHTS! Hiring for AMs only.

THIS POSITION REQUIRES TRAVELING from one clients home to another! Case assignments are short, 4-hours or less! We can build out a schedule for you!

• $18-$20/hr predicated on experience

• $1000 Referral Bonus

• Travel Reimbursement (paid mileage)

• Most shifts are in between 9am-5pm or 11am-7pm. No late evenings and no overnights available***

• WEEKENDS ARE NOT REQUIRED***

MUST be able to DRIVE within these Service Areas:
Plymouth, Maple Grove, Wayzata, Hopkins, Crystal, New Hope and Minnetonka OR Champlin, Coon Rapids, Anoka, and Ramsey

Home Health Aide/HHA Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• CPR Certified

• Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a Caregiver, required

• MUST BE ABLE TO TRAVEL up to 25 MILES within company’s territory, as needed

• Must have Driver’s License with insured, reliable transportation

• Must have a smart phone to utilize mobile apps for schedules and clocking in/out

Home Health Aide/HHA Essential Duties:

• Develop and promote a safe environment for quality client care through adherence to established policies, procedures, and standards

• Perform activities of daily living (ADL) as directed including, but not limited to: bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, undressing, toileting, meal preparation and feeding

• Linen changes and light housekeeping

• Take and record vital signs as well as height and weight

• Monitoring of client’s conditional changes, charting and reporting to the Director of Nursing

• Assist client in active and passive range of motion defined by the plan of care, assist client to doctor appointments and other outdoor activities as needed

• Other duties assigned by DON, including computer work in the office if necessary
