About R&J Trucking:

• · R & J Trucking Company, 2275 North Old Lauren, Gray Court S.C. is hiring.
• · R & J Trucking is a private, family owned leader in the Bulk Commodity Transport Industry.
• · We have ( 18 ) terminals and operate in all ( 48 ) contiguous States plus Canada.
• Celebrating "Sixty" years of reliable service and satisfied customers.
• We offer an afternoon swing shift differential of $2.50 per hr.

• · We operate late model equipment, currently in servicing 2022 International's, Mack's and Peterbilt's into the fleet.
• · We are looking for experienced Mechanics, preferably with experience with EPA 2017 engines.
• · All types of repairs. Tire repairs and some road calls possible.

PM / Diesel Mechanic Qualifications and Skills:

• · PM / Diesel Mechanics needed for Afternoon shift.
• · A clean license is needed and a CDL A is a plus.
• · 2+ years’ experience as a Diesel Mechanic.

PM / Diesel Mechanic responsibilities:

• · Perform PM inspections and some minor repairs on trucks and trailers.
• · Knowledge of EPA 2017 engines a plus.
• · Knowledge of Exhaust Aftertreatment Systems a plus.
• · Knowledge of engine Diagnostic Software, Peterbilt Davie , Cummins Insite, Mack PTT, Bendix Acom and Eaton RoadRanger a plus.
• · Conduct regular preventative maintenance and service trucks and dump trailers.
• · Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• · Search for problems and help plan repairs.
• · Some road calls possible.
• · Tire repairs.
• · Maintain accurate records of each PM Inspection performed on vehicles.
• · Must have own hand tools.
• · We require pre-employment background and mvr checks.
• · We require a pre-employment drug screen and physical.
