A large E-commerce companies team in partnership with Aston Carter is growing rapidly and seeking a highly skilled and motivated Customer Service Specialist to improve the shipper experience for vendors and sellers who ship with the companies Inbound Transportation.

About the role:

Pay: $21/HR

Start Date: 5/22

Interview Times: Week of 5/1

Hours: Monday – Friday 8am – 5:00pm

Reps will most likely work a hybrid schedule of 3 days onsite and 2 days work from home, must be able to go onsite into the office in Tempe, AZ.

Training: Training is 2 weeks. They will be doing in person training Mon – Thurs and Friday will be remote training

Contract Duration: Contract to hire – duration could be anywhere from 4-18 months but their end goal is to convert to FTE based off of performance

Description:

As they continues to drive innovation within transportation and logistics, they consistently evaluate their current network shipper defects and drive improvements through shipper coaching and performance management. In this role, the candidate will work directly with shippers to create solutions, and take action to improve shipper performance metrics.

Responsibilities include:

• Monitor, verify, and present data daily
• Overcome transportation disruptions and other barriers in real time
• Identify transportation defect root causes
• Maintain Daily logs on assigned shippers
• Lead weekly calls with assigned shippers
• Lead Daily Business Review Stand up calls spacer

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• 3+ years of customer service experience required, logistics/supply chain experience is preferred
• Understanding of basic data analytical skills
• Experience writing documents on topics such as process improvement proposals.
• Entry level knowledge of MS Excel; familiarity with Excel spreadsheets and ability to navigate and interpret data
• Interpersonal and customer service skills
