Summit Technologies, Inc. has a potential opportunity for a Computer Programmer. In this role you will Write code to improve software applications, and design and update software solutions. This is a full-time onsite role located at Fort Sam Houston, TX. Any individual hired will need to comply with all onboarding and annual training requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Write code to help software applications operate more efficiently.
• Design and update software solutions, write and update source-code and manage various operating systems.
• Review operating systems and software frequently and making any adjustments necessary to keep them running well.
• Write code and implement computer programs on multiple systems for the organization.
• Use computer-assisted software engineering tools to automate some coding.
• Perform all requirements needed for the implementation of automated computer systems from start to finish.
• Use code libraries to simplify the writing of code.
• Collaborate with software developers in the creation of programs.

Preferred Experience:

• 3 or more years of experience.

Education/Certification:

• An Associates degree or a technical certificate.
