Half Moon Bar is a local craft beer bar designed for adults aged 21 and up who enjoy unwinding with a cold beer or glass of wine while enjoying some fun entertainment. We offer a safe and relaxing environment with 18 local craft beers on tap, along with domestic and well-known beers in bottles and cans, and a rotating selection of craft beers. Our bar also offers entertainment and live music every week, including karaoke on Mondays, trivia on Tuesdays, open mic on Thursdays, and live music on Fridays and Saturdays. At Half Moon Bar, we strive to provide our customers with quality craft beers that can't be found anywhere else in the area, as well as a fun and welcoming atmosphere..

Half Moon Bar is seeking an experienced bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for craft beer and wine, and be able to provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and take orders for beer and wine
• Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks
• Provide recommendations and make suggestions for new drinks to try
• Monitor customer behavior and cut off customers when necessary
• Keep the bar area clean and organized
• Manage inventory and restock supplies as needed
• Process payments and maintain a cash drawer
• Follow all safety and sanitation procedures

Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• 1+ years of experience as a bartender or in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of beer and wine
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy environment
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
