Aquaculture Technician in Training
- Outside work, knowledge of pond facility
- Feed schedule and understanding farm work flow
- Know locations of offline settling ponds and sumps
- Knowledge about fish barriers and there uses and facility equipment
- Awareness of technicians activities and meaning and significance of withdrawal tags on the ponds
- Ability to handle and select proper grading techniques
- Cleaning debris on head ditch grates in first water pond entry points
- Monitor fish behaviors
- Identify safety hazards in the workplace
- Provide prompt and friendly service to internal and external customers
Aquaculture Technician in Training
- Day Shift, 06:00 am to 04:30 pm
- Monday-Friday
Aquaculture Technician in Training
- Knowledge of various material-handling equipment an asset
- Proficient in mathematics
- Possess a high regard for safety in the workplace
- Able to lift 50 pounds unassisted
- Able to work weekends, and holidays
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Able to work independently
- Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
- Able to pass a background check.
- Able to work in the US.
