Hall Monitor, vacancies at Horlick High School Education/Training: High school graduate or equivalent with an emphasis in academics; i.e., reading, math, and language. Experience: 2-3 years of student supervision preferred. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: 1.Familiar with organization and operation of school. 2.Ability to work well with students, staff, and public. 3.Must have the ability to organize and prioritize work load. 4.Work with little or no direct supervision. 5.Must use good independent judgment in routine and non-routine situations. 6.Must be able to identify similarities/differences in comparing colors, forms, and sounds. 7.Must have patience and initiative. 8.Must have a willingness and ability to follow detailed verbal and written directives. 9.Must have good oral and written communication skills. 10.Must be familiar with ISS Program. 11.Must work well under directions from two or more supervisors. 12.Must be accurate and detailed in work performance. 13.Must be creative and resourceful. 14.Must be a positive role model for students. 15.Must be dependable and punctual and have a good attendance record. 16.Must have a positive attitude toward education. 17.Must be aware of and sensitive to the needs of students. 18.Must be courteous to students. 19.Must have good record keeping skills. 20.Must have satisfactory evaluations. Must have Physical stamina, and be able to reach, stoop/kneel, crouch/crawl, push/pull, lift/carry, climb/balance, stand and walk constantly, and lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
